A/V Media Installation and Support

Electronic and electromechanical equipment repair and maintenance; PA system installation, maintenance and repair; intercom repair and maintenance, two-way non-trunking radio maintenance, installation and licensing, A/V system integration, maintenance and repair.

 

NOTE: The Multimedia group has begun a phased shut down of services.  Special event support, AV repairs, and AV and multimedia installation services will not accept work requests effective immediately, and all outstanding work will be completed by June 30, 2022.  All services will end August 31, 2022.

 

 

  • Equipment Installation, Repair or Maintenance

    ITS Multi-media services include campus-wide AV and media event support for university-related special events, (i.e., conferences, seminars, convocations, athletic events, speeches, etc.), installation of audio/visual systems, management of radios, public address systems, and intercoms, electronic and electromagnetic equipment installation, repair and maintenance.

     

    IMPORTANT NOTICE: 

    The Multi-media group has begun a phased shut down of services.  Special event support, AV repairs, and AV and multi-media design and installation services will not accept work requests effective immediately, and all outstanding work will be completed by July 31, 2022.  All services will end August 31, 2022.  Customers needing these types of service support will be referred to other providers beginning in May and June 2022.

    Features
    • Installation, repair, and maintenance services for various types of electronic equipment and systems, including A/V equipment, two-way radios, intercoms,
    • Design, licensing, consulting and technical support for The University's non-trunking two-way radio systems.
    • Consultation and research for A/V equipment purchases and integration.
    • Maintenance, installation and repair of A/V systems.
    • Maintenance, installation and repair of video observation systems not related to security.

    Cost

    Costs depend on the services needed.

    Service Level Objectives

    Response time for routine requests is 8 business hours.  There are seasonal increases in work requests that can delay response times but most are typically addressed within two business days.
